so for another week running my so called Friday post is happening on the weekend, I would like to say it is because I have been so busy and important this week, but honestly it is because I am slowly losing my mind - and unfortunately no one is reaping the benefits!

So here is to pseudo Friday (aka Sunday) and LTJ..  Unfortunately I could not find a clip of my fav LTJ song - The Space They Can't Touch on the Tube so I have the next best thing - Does the Lion City Still Roar.. Having rapt up SS11 and having slept some what, although yet to have my brain back..  Here are my top picks for Summer..


I am loving the Alexander Wang Kirsten bag and am currently considering selling my soul for it, also note worthy and worth a soul sell is 3.1 Phillip Lim's camera bag, such an amazing new shape...  Next on the list of loves is pops of Neon, still yet to work out how to get this into my wardrobe - but the punky brewster stuck inside of me says that it is a must! x

leading up to Soundwave I am dedicating my Friday posts to my favourite artists that I will have the pleasure in seeing...

I am aware that today is Saturday - however after dedicating the last week of my life to SS11, I am lucky that I am only a day behind..

The downward spiral..

Sunday afternoon the lovely lulki came over - while drinking strawberry and lime cider and mulling over what we want to be when we grow up, I came to the realisation that I am slowly becoming more conservative the older I get.

In order to do my best to counteract this downward spiral today's outfit was brought to you by pink animal....  

Worn today open with cami, jeans and pumps (of course) and teamed with the assortment of jewels artistically hung from my birdcage.. ha!

I am currently loving mixed metals, esp of the burnished variety..

Also note to self: using wide hand gestures while speaking results in the snapping death of the double finger rings - RIP cross finger ring.. x

I am having one of those days peppered with silly mistakes and head explosion moments - with my only saving grace Mr Homme, thank god for ipods and tall red heads!

46 days to go - not that I am counting ...

I am starting to think that shoes can solve all of my problems..

Take exhibit A for example.. I was having an ordinary day and then - bam! - along came these perfect shoes from the vintage section in Pitt St Sportsgirl..

Once again thank you SG for answering my shoe prayers and making my life make sense once again.. x

wildfox couture - white label - SS11

for those who know me, you will know that I am obsessed with T-shirts, I could spend my whole life in them.. esp. if containing some form of sequins..  

with this in mind my love for LA based knitwear label wildfox couture should be clear and their White Labels current SS11 range is just sublime... the jersey dresses are killer and the sequin rib shirt - oh my.. and the photo shoot for the range is amazing - so amazing it is making me want to cut my bangs again..

I find that Riverisland can be a little touch and go at the best of times, however I have been waiting for their SS11 lookbook to come out ever since I saw a preview of their SS range on 5 inch and Up in December..  The stripe on stripe combination is cute as hell and what girl does not need massive leopard wedges in their wardrobe - completely practical right??

After struggling to find shoes that I love this summer, I think these babies will be on my to buy list this summer - not sure if they are quite worth the flight to the UK though?? x
