i think the just about the only thing that calms the angry beast inside when i am fuming (besides gin of course) is shoes.. 

on friday i was seeing red, absolute scarlet... the type of anger that could level a building with a single roar.

 i was at a point of no return - or so i thought.. that was until the arrival of a shopbop GV from work for my birthday- with a little help from my credit card my red was toned down to terracotta...

thank you Mr Wang for fixing my hurt.

i am a stickler for traditions of sort (well ones that help me gain new shinny things) - one tradition that i am a massive fan of is buying something on my birthday that helps me regress slightly.

last year it was kids size metallic cons - this year it was my obsession of the moment - a Cambridge Satchel..  sadly when i logged onto Asos all the amazing flouro colours had sold out - however on it's merry way to a desk near me soon is a hot pink 11".  x

So lost in modern art..

in just under two weeks i will be watching the amazing mr gable with the infamous 'just lost my shit' look in my eyes - until then apologies for being a rubbish blogger..

today marks the 17th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's sad passing - while i was more of a Courtney fan i could not let the day pass....

just before i went to Japan i decided that i was in desperate need of new shoes - well new shoes that could trek around the back streets of Harajuku.  

living in Australia most people complain that we are a season behind the rest of the world - but i say we have the advantage as we can seize trends by the horns and embrace the fringed kimonos before the rest of the world - hey think about it - it is actually winter here when the winter catwalks show.  also this gives us the added advantage of getting great bargins online as winter is on sale in the US when it is just opening here..

which brings me back to my shoes....  the above is the result of my first online shop (hard to believe considering i work in fashion), i would like to thanks Urban Outfitters for putting a dent in my savings and delivering these amazing and ever so practical ( flouro pink nikes go with everything yes?) kicks to my work.. i am currently living in the cherry suede heel hikers - online shopping = solid gold x
